I’ve been working in the IT field since 2011. I started working on the computer hardware repairs side of things (think laptop screen replacement, power outlet repairs, hard drive replacement, etc). Next I moved on to deskside support, helping out end users with any issue they were having with their computer. This evolved to more of a desktop engineering role, as I became responsible for IBM BigFix, later to be replaced by SCCM.
On this site, you’ll find some of the things I deal with on a daily basis. Some of the really unexpected fixes / workarounds, and maybe a few rants. I have gained so much from the information posted on other sites, I wanted to give my experience as well.
